Outdoor hobbies for 13 and 11 year old?

A hobby for my brother and me, outside but not a sport. Something that could work well in California. Were not intrested in building or knitting or any of that crafty stuff, more of the adventurous stuff, We love nature and are already involved in swimming, hiking, and biking, and photography and writing. Anything else? We're thinking about doing archery... or Lock Picking that sounds cool (we like csi spy stuff so this is an exception to the not wanting to do crafty stuff) we like to travel a lot, So thats a little bit about us what hobbies seem to be good for us?
